    Rws c225

I have been asked to look at a RWS C225 pistol, its leaking co2 as soon as the powerlet is inserted.
The seal looks a bit chewed up, anybody know if it just a case of pulling the old one out and pressing in a new one or is it a complete strip job ?

It's not a complete strip down job, if you have a few simple tools you can unscrew the cap that holds the seal in place and take it out.

Seals are readily available and cheap.

Depending on how long the pistol has not been used, it may need lubing to ensure all the exhaust valve seals are nicely lubed.

There is a strip down guide over on UBC

Just make sure that the base plate CO2 bulb securing screw is not over tightened when clamping the base plate, it's a common cause of failure in these pistols.
