Peter and Liz Binfield are kindly arranging a charity table at the next fair on Sunday September 5th, which is the last scheduled Kempton for this year.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of one of our long standing forum members, Troubledshooter, we will be offering some really nice boxed Webley air rifles for sale, as well as numerous other items at I think you will find, very reasonable prices.

Firstly, a couple of caveats; this is NOT a sales thread. All the items mentioned below will be offered for sale on the day of the fair and not before. The charity table will be located by the table store and none of these will be offered for sale until after the public enter at 9:30 am. This way, those attending on the day of the fair will have an opportunity of coming away with a bargain.

So onto the rifles:

A boxed Webley Osprey in .177. The rifle looks almost unused and is complete and original.

A boxed .177 Webley Jaguar from the early 1970s. This little air rifle has never been fired and still has its safety label fixed across the cocking slot. It comes with a few original Webley accessories including an orange oil bottle. The box consists of a polystyrene tray and plain brown outer. One end flap is stamped JAGUAR, so this would have been one of the last ones sold.

A boxed Webley Hawk MkII / III Hybrid in .22. I am told the original cylinder suffered from the usual elongated holes where the trigger block meets the cylinder and has been replaced with a Hawk Mk II cylinder. The foresight block is also missing. The box consists of the polystyrene tray, Webley marked sleeve and protective outer brown box, which is also marked with the box contents across one end flap. The latter were used to protect the boxed air rifle on its journey from factory to shop and was usually thrown away, so this example is worth considering for the packaging alone.

A boxed Webley Hawk MK III in .177. This is a pristine Hawk Mk III with its original cylinder and all other parts present including sights. It is also presented in the same packaging as the hybrid Hawk above and also has its protective outer sleeve.

There are others too. David has kindly donated his stock of Webley Mk 3 actions and stocks that he had spare. They are unassembled and will be offered for sale at bargain prices as we want to raise as much as we can for charity on the day. So, if you're missing some Mark 3 parts, you may be able to find them at the show. Rather than list each part individually, we'll offer you the action for example. Some parts such as the tap or sights may be missing but if you're after a trigger block or piston, you may be pleasantly surprised by the asking price for the remaining action! I believe there are other stocks too and possibly some pistols but have not gone through them yet. I'll do so on the day of the fair in time for the 9:30 start.

Let's make this a fair to remember.

See you there.
