    Thank you, Neil.

But it is the standard one that I was after and driving over to Solware also gave me an opportunity to catch up with a Classic Boingerati - purl, Big Bill.

And I have today received a quick tutorial on copy & paste on the iPad - take a look at the thread on Robert Beeman.

Choosing to get the new pistol from Solware gave me the opportunity to make a day out of it and it was brilliant to see Bill and our very dear Mick. Mick was looking well and was in his usual great and entertaining form as I caught him just prior to his afternoon rest time.

    Great to see you, Mick.

Have fun with your new ‘45 Tony… they really are tremendous pistols and pack quite a punch!

I was hoping to get down to the Bash but with this crazy fuel situation and the fact it costs me about 120 quid for the return trip, combined with the lesser hours of daylight I’ll have to give it a miss or a donut as they say in HFT terminology.

Great to hear that you met up with Mick and that he was looking fine and doing okay.

Have a brilliant weekend… the weather’s looking no’ bad and please say ‘hello’ to the troops on my behalf!

    A’ the Best,
    Graeme 🎶🎸😎

Brilliant, as always, to see you on, Graeme.

Sorry to hear you won't be able to make it, although it's fully understandable given the distance, cost and current uncertainty. Although we managed to enjoy some decent time together on the Saturday at the last Bash, I felt cruel having to snatch the Predator away from your loving embrace on the Sunday.

As said, Mick was looking good and was in fine spirits. All the switched on sharpness and brilliant humour is there, let me tell ya.......

I bought a .177 '45 in 1988. Loved it. Really can't remember why I stupidly let it go (mid 90s, I think). I'd always regretted it. I managed to buy another new one back in 2010, but HC couldn't supply a .177, so I settled for the big bruiser .22. Love it but I've always wanted that .177 again. And today it happened. Had a few shots down the hallway and, as expected, it's lovely. Can't wait to be re-acquainted on Christmas Day! And it's most definitely a keeper.

I will, most certainly, say "hi" to all the Boingerpeeps for you and we'll all look forward to seeing you at Quigley (Hollow / Bottom?) next year.

P.S....Got any of your excellent and most entertaining tales for us?

He only popped in for a copy and paste lesson, Paul.

It was either show him what to do or slap him round the head with a kipper, unfortunately I didn't have a kipper.

    Great seeing you again, Tone.

    All the best Mick

The firing point is set up. Not where I wanted due to the wind.
    Targets to go out tomorrow.
May just have an early plink.
