    Things that annoy you

Generally I thoroughly enjoy shooting but just occasionally something happens to take away a bit of the fun.

Two things come to mind. First there are screw top pellet tins that seem to have the lids screwed on so tightly when new you can hardly undo them without mucking up the tin almost regardless of how you try. Guess they need to make sure the tins don't open in transit but not all makes/brands are difficult to open.if some can do it why can't others?

Second thing is stuck CO2 capsules despite lubricating things on the neck etc getting one out of something like a 2260 can be annoying & time consuming to say the least. Tapping it muzzle downwards in morse code for 'help' is about the only fun to be gained.

Can anyone add to these two?

Maybe I should stick to darts out of a springer........

For me it's people who don't look after their rifles, I hate recieving a secondhand rifle and the bluing has rust on it or the stock is beaten to hell.

People who openly and knowingly ignore club rules and think their little game has no consequences.

All the above plus - people who carry their rifles over their shoulder in bags upside down. With the re-enforcing bit at the top and the zip at the bottom. I once saw a nearly new gun fall through the zip and break the stock.

Theres plenty more. Like lazy club members.

It does annoy me when I wildly miss a sitter for no apparent reason, check zero, it will be spot on & shoot a 5p size group.

Isnt the answer really just "people".
People design stupid things, do stupid things, say or ask stupid things.
At the end of the day we have probably all done the above at some time!!!!

    Spring guns
People who don't know how to cock them
People who have no ******* sense and muzzle sweep you
People who keep putting their trigger finger on the trigger.
Cheap optics that clearly are crap. There are rare exceptions
    Prices for refreshments at shows.
    Keir starmer and jeremy karbyne
People who use licensed firearms in a bad way.

Think that covers the top 1%

One cheeky question, Jeremy Karbyne, is he like a shorter lighter version of Jeremy Corbyn????

People that assume I have a certain political mindset because I shoot, & like old guns, chiefly British. No, I have them because they were the guns I wanted as a kid.

Walking back from changing targets at a range and seeing someone looking through their scope

I’m cross with the person looking through their scope, but the RO gets a proper bollocking.
