They are both epic rifles, there will be only fit and feel between then, which sadly, is only a question you can answer. The Walther to me is the better looking, and a bit cheaper, but no less a gun, but then I'm a gun slut, so would buy both eventually anyway

Had both, sorry that should be had the Walther kept the Steyr. Both lovely and to be honest if the Walther was as short as my Steyr I might have kept it. Couldn't keep both and someone was after the Walther so I let mine go. I'd scratched the itch. Now my Steyr is the HFT not FT so if I had a longer barrel FT I would have kept the Walther I recon.

Bet that cleared it up for you.

Regarding being Left handed both can have LH grips and cocking lever changed over (might not work if you are doing FT though due to the sidewheel if you have one fitted).

I do think the Walther is nicer and feels to me like it has more pedigree but I've shot Steyr for a long time; it would be hard to let go! That said, I'm shooting my new 'old' AA Pro Target more at the moment.

It's like Katie Price on top and Lucy Pinder below for me. Top was / is nice but common as. While the Walther is just that little bit more classy, much better looking, but basically the same.
