    Webley Mk3

    Hi All
Been asked to sell this Webley Mk3 for a friend wondering if someone could give me an idea of how much to ask? Rifle shoots well, not sure if front sight is the original one, any help appreciated.

Looks like a super target in .177 they are worth the most out the mk3’s I would say but it does look like it needs the bluing doing. It looks to have a rear diopter on it as well but as you have said might not be the original front. Someone will be along with a price for you but make sure you get a few different prices off people first to make sure you get the right amount for it.

I don't think it is a Supertarget version as it has the original rear sight on it as well.

I seem to recall that Webley offered an upgrade with Parker Hale sights, which is what this appears to be.

    As to value, not sure.
People who have been there focus on the fundamentals. People who sit at keyboards all day focus on the trivial and inane.

Hi l would say that the rear peep sight would be the biggest value of it. it also looks like the checkering by the trigger guard as been added at some time. the metal work is not in the best of condition. having said all that it is in .177 so l would say at least around £170-200.

Just my take on it : Aperture sight has been added with non gun screws and it is newer than the gun. The foresight appears to be a tunnel attached to the base of the original sight.
It has a rear open sight base - without leaf or screw - so is not a "Supertarget".
    Metalwork a bit rusty.
Assuming it is all working then £140 max

It is an early mk3 with a ribbed stock and grip chequering added. The PH16 aperture sight was probably fitted by Webley (I had an identical one back in the 60's) The tube foresight has been added at some stage attached to the dovetail block. The metalwork is not too good but assuming it shoots ok then I guess it is worth about £140-£170.
