Individual experience of most accurate rifles

I was reading another forum. A thread started me thinking about what my most accurate gun is.

For what it's worth - with me shooting and that particular gun, in order of best accuracy:
=1st Mk4is (JSB Exact diablo)
=1st Pulsar (JSB Exact diablo)
3rd BSA Ultra (.22) (RWS Super field)
4th FTP900 (JSB Exact diablo)
5th AA S400 (JSB Exact diablo)
6th HW110 (JSB Exact heavy)
7th AA S200 (JSB Exact heavy)
8th HW100T (Bisley Magnum)
All sub 12ftlb and .177

I've tried many others, but not owned them, as, with me, they weren't as good as what I already had. Haven't tried an FX or FWB yet.

I've not included springers as I'm not a good springer shot.

Revealingly, the HW110, AA S200 and HW100T have been sold on, and the FTP900 I'm trying to sell. The AA S400 was my first PCP, so I won't be selling that.

All of these are ridiculously accurate, and I've had 50/60+ guns including several target rifles like Steyr/FWB/Annie/Walther etc.

I've a 9015 which has just been to Ratworks which should be up there also, but I've had a shoulder OP and can't currently shoot it

Rapid MFR .20 with H&N FTT's,
Rapid mk2 .25 (fac) with JSB Kings, Both will shoot ragged single hole groups at their zero range.

My old Verminator mk1 .177 with Powapell's also shot very nice groups, as does my Scorpion se .25,
Frankly if the rifle cant manage better than 10p size groups at it's zero, I'm not going to keep it.

Mk1 .177” HW77 in 80s CS thumbhole with Venom internals. That thing looks and feels lovely and shoots like a laser.

My best two break barrel sporters have been the FWB Sport and a Theoben Countryman.

5th - Mk1 .177 HW77k Tuned by John Allcock who designed the Olympic trigger for Air Arms re-barrelled with a .177 Anschutz
335 barrel blank from Worcester Black Powder Supplies. Loved Grey Superdomes 7.9grain. (Another one I sold and shouldn't
have).

Mates fx wildcat mk3 Fac is pretty tight but that gets pushed out to rimfire distance, but sub 40 it's same hole.

Surprisingly, for a rifle with a less-than-great trigger, the Phoenix Mk2 in 0.177. I borrowed it from Pax to write a review many years ago, but it was so good I couldn't give it back, simply had to buy it, and still have it. It shoots amazingly well, I took it to the rifle club to show the rimfire guys on the 50yd range, several times they thought it was empty because the pellets were going through the same holes and they didn't think air rifles would do that.

In second place, the old TX200 Mk2 0.177 - tweaked spring and piston weight, polished and re-crowned barrel, some weight added to the back end.

No 3, Falcon FN19. My first PCP, I spent a lot of time polishing, tweaking, crowning, machining different barrel supports etc., etc. It works very well, and holds air forever, but the shot count is too low for me, especially as it came with 8 magazines. Probably as accurate as the TX200, but it's very small and I just don't shoot it so well. Would make a great ladies gun.

Fourth. Rapid Mk2 0.177. Box standard. Great trigger, acceptable accuracy, good shot count, comfortable. It's a good all-rounder, but ultimately not quite as accurate as the others. I wish the Phoenix had a trigger like the Rapid.

Fifth onwards - assorted bouncy but loveable springers.
