For Sale: A 1929 HAENEL MOD. 1VE .177 air rifle:

    For Sale:

A .177 calibre HAENEL MOD. 1VE air rifle, the underneath of the barrel marked 11 29. 43 1/4" overall length with a 19" barrel, these were a copy of the contemporary BSA Standards.

The top of the cylinder is crisply stamped with: HAENEL MOD. 1VE and the barrel with the calibre details. Cast trigger guard with a trigger adjusting screw through the front of it.

BSA style semi pistol grip to the walnut stock, with impressed chequering, which is in good condition with the original finish. Steel butt plate. BSA type rear sight with central elevating wheel.

The action has been professionally re blued at some point in its life. The cylinder finish however still appears very crisp and original, but the barrel and underlever shows evidence of pitting under the
    (re)blued finish.

Overall the rifle presents well, and is very attractive, and were it all original it would be twice the asking price of £175 + post of £12.
