    Reflex red dot/holograph sight recommendation

    Evening All,

Treated myself to a new toy in the form of a Umarex Legends S40 revolver

Cleaned barrel and now put three bulbs worth of pellets through it, grouping has improved, and generally very impressed with it - foresight is a little narrow which makes a good sight picture a little tricky

Any recommendations for a reflex red dot/holograph type sight? Has got weaver rail on top

Surprisingly these cheapo ones are very good with a nice small clear dot

Or if you want some quality the Hawke vantage red dots are brilliant.

Key thing is to make sure it is 3 Moa or less.

    Some are 5moa = cover 5” at 100 yards so 20 yards covers 1”

    3moa 3” at 100 or 0.6” at 20yards - it makes all the difference

I have a few Hawke Reflex dots at 5 moa and a Geco open red dot at 2 moa. The Geco is noticeably smaller at 25m and quite precise, but the Hawkes still hit cans at 50m regular enough

+1 for the Hawke Vantage - they are a brilliant bit of kit. Not cheap but you do get what you pay for.
