    Japanese air pistol first

    Feast your eyes on this little beauty (). Citizen K's eagle eyes (pun intended) have turned up the first known pics of this brutish example of Japanese ingenuity... Note: the strap holding the front of the frame to the air cylinder is not a repair job. They were actually made like that originally.

    I love that reinforcing band holding the action together. Shades of the Certus!

    This shows the advantage of catalogue pictures, as without them you would swear that the band was some amateur's cack-handed repair.
