    Homemade gadgets for loading 410 & 12g

These long winter nights need filling somehow. I bought a .410 turnover tool from Russia the other day so I thought I'd make some bits to go with it.

First a wad punch to fit in a single stage press.

    Then a case trimmer (410 and 12g)

Then a clamp to hold the 410 cases. The 12g you can do by hand but I printed a holder for those as well.

The wooden one is a prototype before I started the 14 hour prints.
It all works quite well with the turnover tool in the pillar drill.

Most of my 410 loads are just for short range night shots in the garden on ratties. We back onto a farm, have decking, and I feed the birds. Perfect conditions to attract ratties.

    These 3d printers are great.

They are great for prototyping too.

Handy for doing things like you have above.

    14hr print? 100% infill?

    Nice work by the way.

    Trimmer

That case trimmer looks a good idea I will certainly try it! I have a shed load of 70mm cases to trim down to 65.
When I die don't let my wife sell my guns for what she thinks I gave for them!!!
