I've never studied the Walther catch at close quarters. Some in the past have enjoyed success with magnets. Is there scope for this to work on the Walther?
Hi does any one know any one who can rework the ball catch to make
it a better latch mechanism similar to a weihrauch latch ?
at times the existing ball detent has come loose
my thoughts were a piston thing and spring in the cocking lever
retained by a thumb slider or maybe some one has a better idea
thx in advance any one

THE BOINGER BASH AT QUIGLEY HOLLOW. MAKING GREAT MEMORIES SINCE 15th JUNE, 2013.
NEXT EVENT :- August 3/4, 2024.........BOING!!
Mostly the problems with the underlever is loose rivets introducing slip in the lever.
Also if the action is slamming due to poor sealing , it will make the lever drop.
Magnets can be effective but it's a lot of work.
ok i will tighten the rivets with ball bearings and g cramps
thx chaps
