I've never used a honeycomb but an extended sunshade used to come in handy when avoiding glare when I used to shoot FT around years ago, so yes I think one would help you. Try it and see.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.
