New improved barrels are due in mid may according to SMK.
I wonder if they will be discounted to owners with mediocre
or ones with oversized bores. ??

My only experience comes from two .177 PP700 pistols (W and SA), and one .22 PP700W. All super accurate, variable fpe due to poor set up and reg quality. The latest one, the transfer port was very nearly not drilled through.

Great care needed to explore ALL fill pressures to ensure it’s legal throughout the range and set it to that part.

Plusses? Cheap, accurate (JSB exact 4.52), reliable and a fiddlers paradise!!

    Smk

I have the green grip pistol and it is extremely accurate with AA field, Hobby and R10 match.
    But...this P15 .22 is inaccurate.
The P15 .25 is fine ...very accurate..but the .22's bore is too big pellets are far too slack when pushed through.

My own brief experience was not good (M16), although I am aware of a shooter with an SFS "fettled" gun that shoots beautifully. I ended up with a Kral. Delighted with it.

Tis I ! I recently bought a M16D (.177) from Sandwell Field Sports which was fettled before dispatch by Tony (thank you). I am very pleased with it and consider it a bargain (£399) even if it does look like the b*stard love child of a Rapid 7 and a fire extinguisher.

    Oh Ian ,
    What have you done ?
Mind you , as you know looks aren't everything.
    I settled for a M16 , silky smooth sidelever , decent shot count , and cheap !
Enjoy it . These Chinese guns are better than I was always lead to believe .
And they weren't all made on a Friday afternoon.

Owned a p10 for a while in .22, very accurate and well made, all I've done is change the soft seals and transfer port size. Also own a p700, got it for £160 new, best value pcp pistol on the market. When I hear of leaking regs on r10's, wobbly barrels on fx's, leaking 100's, crappy mags on bantams etc etc I'm glad I've got a smk!!

Maybe...but I will sort it one way or the other.
Either pester Smk and try to get a better barrel cheap or I will keep an eye out on the forum for something to machine up...if not a Weihrauch barrel from silco will do iti reckon.
The Chinese can make good barrels ..but not all the time
my son had a QB which was splendid.
The P700 and P15 .25 are well up to the task.
However this .22 isn't,I even with the shroud off so it isn't clipping..push a pellet up and it is nice for about 4" the it goes slack.
I love these little guys and will get it running nice.
I the meantime I will just have to run the .25.

Probably. Anything beyond Wigan is Foreign to me.

Todays tip: A plastic car tyre valve cap fits the filler valve perfectly on a 'Fart & Miss' M16D. These caps can be found on your neighbours car.
