Think Barry (MARSH) has had loads of wildcats hopefully he will see your thread and add some input

I’ve been tempted myself with going the BP route but haven’t scratched the itch yet

I had the mk1 and it was ok, had regulator issues twice so got that changed. It was accurate as they had the proper barrel as I call it, the mk2 has the straw barrel I think, mine was used for nv and ratting which was its downfall as 8 shot mags were a palaver for me. If Im honest Id snap a mk1 up and in general there’s not much bad press about the mk1 & 2 but Im now allergic to anything FiX

I have a Wildcat Mk2 which I bought used and I've had it for about a year.
No problems at all. Very accurate, light and good shot count.
I use it for HFT, it's great.
    Your price sounds about right.
