OO - I like the look of this on a Fenix Carbine - only website I can see it on, not even on Cometa's own yet ....

Blimey. A new, affordable, air rifle that I genuinely like the look of. That doesn’t happen very often these days.

I do love the Cometas. I had a 400 carbine and foolishly sold it. This one looks absolutely fantastic and is very tempting.

    I'm very interested too.
I too had a Fenix 400 cabine some years ago and quite liked it.

The 400 USC is of particular interest to me.

Now here's the stupid question, which I don't mind getting shot down in flames for asking but is the stock a proper laminate or is it hydro dipped?

    I liked this one:

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Well I look forward to meeting Dan in due course over next week or so and collecting my new laminate Cometa....... I really like his attitude having chatted of having a good go with Cometa and some of the other brands where he has peace of mind he'll get tip top back up

Good to hear, looking forward to seeing more of it please.

It'll be interesting to find out how much he charges for a direct to your door delivery?

I don't know if they do delivery, I'm not scared of getting in my car normally to pick up something that requires face to face - that's my intention

I gather the laminate is like 'super new' and I spotted it quite quick, I think he was suggesting that the laminate might be actually a bit pricier than walnut model 400s and he hoped he'd put the correct price up (which he said he was absolutely going to honour)

BAR showed one on FB too.
Looks like a really nice gun, and the modern Cometas are way better built than any other airguns that come from Spain these days!
    Too many airguns!
