For most of my airgunning life, the Bascaran Cometas were an uninspiring, old-fashioned, budget brand - a bit like some of the Warsaw Pact guns. And poor quality at times. From the 70s, Gamo was way ahead of them, in styling, innovation, and marketing. So were Norica for a while.

It’s really nice to see that their management has breathed new life into the brand, and are producing models that are up-to-date, attractive and apparently good quality.
