    BSA Lincoln Jefferies model D valuation??

    Hi guys, I have a BSA Lincoln Jefferies Model D in original condition. If fires and has some light surface pitting/patina but for a air rifle of 107 years plus it’s very good. Would probably benefit from a service/rebuild but guess that’s the fun when buying them?

    I have pics but don’t know how to post them!

    Any idea on value?

    Thanks
    Jim

    Pics very much needed, but I've been buying a few old bsa over the last month and been watching what they sell for and it sounds like about £100-£120 to me.
    There are folk on here with more knowledge on this than me though, but I've been toying with buying one of these and if it's got rust, pitting, and needs rebuild, that's what I'd be looking at paying.
    Completeness has a BIG part to play in value though.

    Edit...
    It's also possible it's better than I personally imagine from the description

    I think the value ranges are something like this

    Relic …….. sub £50

    Poor……….. £50 - £100

    Average…. £100 -£160

    Good …….. £160 - £250

    Very Good…… £250 ++

    Of course, these are very rough guides only. And prices will vary a lot on the day, as the variables for each individual gun, are huge.

    That just about covers it, until some photos are added.
