Am I right in thinking that anyone can start "The Bash Sales Thread"? If so, I'll kick it off.
If I've stepped out of line can a mod just delete my thread please?

Gary, from recollection anyone can start the thread. What Mick did in the past was pin it to the top of the sales page, to avoid it dropping off of the pages.

There's no problem, Garry --- as you and Mark say, anyone can start the thread.

Gary, from recollection anyone can start the thread. What Mick did in the past was pin it to the top of the sales page, to avoid it dropping off of the pages.

So that we didn't upset any other vendors in sales with the inevitable bumps from chat etc I used to pin the main Bash sales thread at the top of the page and then run a redirect thread.
Doing it this way I could bump the redirect thread twice a day if needed in line with everyone else's sales threads bump allowance so that we didn't upset anyone.

This gives everyone using sales an equal opportunity of bumping their sales thread to the top of sales.

I'll keep an eye on things and shift things around if needed.

Oh yes, indeed, we're edging so much closer. Can't wait to see (hopefully clearly!) all you lovely peeps again and to enjoy the sights, sounds and therapeutic ambience of our beloved Bash once again.

I saw the previously mentioned Gary from Lincoln yesterday. He's hoping to make it for at least one of the days with his freshly fettled Brummy Stingray. And I spoke to Steff from Lincoln yesterday, too. He works with Adam, "Monkey", from Lincoln, who came along on the Sunday of the October Bash. Hopefully they'll both come along with their 99s on the Sunday.

I haven't heard back from Dave from Chesterfield or David (Gina's brother) yet........
