I've 95% solved my travel issues to get to the bash, it will require trimming down the amount of toys I bring with me...... I can manage sleeping bag, mat and tent, from google maps the delights of Melton Mowbray are only about 4 miles away and on a bus route

I can happily live on instant meals and the smell of dieselling springers for 48 hours, so don't have to worry too much about food

Cheers, Pauly. Not ideal, for sure. I suppose many of us have it / have had it / have it to come. And caring for his mum was the reason I heard for us not hearing from our lovely Phil, Rickenbacker, for such a long time. I do hope he's okay. One of the very nicest people one could wish to find and I do miss him.

I miss Phil too, such a nice fella. He lives very close to me in Monmouth but I don’t know exactly where unfortunately. I messaged him a lot over the few years I’ve lived here (nearly 4 years now !!!!) but the last I heard from him was October 2020 when he agreed we should meet up, sadly, I haven’t had a reply from him since. I’m now prompting myself to message him again and hopefully he’ll get back to me.
