    .577 lead Minie bullets

    Hi,

I'm having trouble finding somewhere I can purchase lead cast Minie .577 lead bullets.

Kranks used to do the Pedersoli ones, .577 (620gr) at £40.20 for 50 bullets, which works out at 80p per bullet !

Unfortunately, they've been out of stock for a while

I know they can be made if you cast your own but with my Asthma I can't bring myself to do it

    Regards Stephen

Drop shellhouse an email, I'd bet they'd cast you some.

Shellhouse have said they don't do .577 lead Minie bullets

They do the .577/450 martini Henry but they're not the same

Hi,Dunno if these any good for you,,,
these are not minie but I use them very effectively in my 58cal repo zoulie,
do need a slightly thicker patch for them.
they are also a very good price at 1/2 what kranky charges.
    14.6mm is .574 inch.
Type this item number into search for listing, for some reason will not allow me to post a link..

    .577 minie

I get mine from Alan Wiffin. He is the guy that runs the ML RCO course for the NRA.

He is based in Essex and can be reached on burnrooe@btinternet.com

I use his bullets in my Parker Enfield. Prices better than Kranks.
