1962 – 1970

Introduced by Hammerli in 1962 and produced alongside the ‘Junior’ right up to 1970. This rifle has a similar action to the ‘Master’ pistols, but is cocked by the use of the front trigger. The front trigger is really a lever that automatically pops up the loading port and sets the trigger, once the pellet is loaded it is pushed back down against light spring pressure and is ready for firing.
The triggers are finely adjustable and a delight to use

The rifles come with a rear diopter and replaceable element front tunnel sight. A neat feature of the rear diopter is that it can be folded forward, so that the shooter can easily change the CO2 bulb. These rifles all use the standard 12grm CO2 bulbs.

A barrel sleeve was also available as an option in varying weights. The one fitted to this rifle is the lightest.

The charging assembly is the same as that on the ‘Master’ pistol and features an adjustable blow off setting, so that no low power shots can spoil a match card.

This rifle has the bulk fill feature in addition to the standard 12grm CO2 bulb method where the tube extends through the pistol grip.
It has a finely grained walnut stock with 30years of nicely aged use with a distinctive cheek piece. Blueing is in lovely condition with just a few minor marks. The valve has been resealed as has the charging unit and the rifle shoots perfectly with fine accuracy. This rifle has two stocks, one fitted with lead weight. Will come with Hammerli model brochure and green Hammerli patch, plus two different size front sights.
