    Airsporter RB carbine

    HI,
Having acquired a long sort after airsporter carbine, and needing to sort out the internal issues, very twangy, needs, smoothing out and springs guides fitting.
Question is? When stripping down , unlike normal airsporters.
Is the trigger block still threaded in? Or is it held in place by the two bolts either side of the cylinder? Along with the spring tension?
    Cheers

As you say the two side bolts hold the trigger block in and if it has a maxi grip scope rail (from memory I don't think the carbine does) then the bolt that goes through the top of the rail at the back also screws into the round part of the block that goes inside the cylinder.

There's a lot of spring pressure as well so go careful, I found that taking out one of the bolts first and then inserting a suitably sized Phillips Screwdriver and removing the other bolt means you can push the cylinder down with the trigger block in a bunch of rags on the floor and then pull the screw driver out whilst managing the spring pressure.
