Cleaning rod with no attachment from muzzle end and a piece of 4.5/5.5 rod from breech. Knitting needles are good source. Sandwich between them

Have resealed it, and been trying to fit just with face plate, tried with pellet pushed past seal groove, various types of tools etc but no joy.

    pellet probe breech seal.

remove air cylinder, remove barrel, split the 2 halves, remove breech block. use cleaning pellet pushed up near groove in block.

fit new oring. remove cleaning pellet. fit new 12 x 1 oring to breech block. connect both halves. refit barrel (check serial number on left). refit cylinder.

this is the quickest way to do it.

And I was sympathising with you thinking 'that sounds a bit of a mare.' That's funny.

Need sympathy with the hearing Chris, but as Benny Hill used to say, learning all the time, but not on this subject..

Your not on your own, bud. I'm the same. I keep being told 'I'm at a funny age.'
