Well, I decided to strip the reel down and repaint the outer shell. It looks a lot better now but it was an absolute nightmare resetting the auto bail arm.

Anyone looking in on here own either a Gamo P900 or Umarex Buck Mark pistol? If so, what do you think to them?

Like I was all those years ago and have championed them ever since.

I've only used those Hammers in my Mercury so far, and it likes them.

FTTs seem to be the favourite go-to for most of my HWs. But do get a tin of RWS Hobby for the little 30, too. Mine love them.
Now you tell me, I could of got a tin yesterday when I was at Knibbs, I did pick up a tin of FTTs (250 my I add) to go in the stash, I remember when you could buy a tin of 500 for a fiver, I handled one of those Diana K98 spring things, bloody hell are they heavy.

Thinking about it, I wonder how much pellets are in Germany?

Oops, sorry, Pete. I did mean to mention the Hobby to you at The Bash.

Be handy if pellet prices are amenable in Germany.

If not, try mail order from JSR or NM Products.....for some of us now the postage can work out cheaper than the fuel cost to the gun shop.

I've shot a couple of those Dianas at Quigley Hollow. Heavy; yes. But very stable and accurate. I enjoyed my tries with them.

It's not a problem Tone I'll have a little look and see how much they are.

If they are cheaper in Germany, I'll probably stock up on some.

Anyone know what gun shop is in German.

I think just entering "airgun shops in Germany" into a Google search should do the trick, Pete.. Depending in your route, it might be a idea to also look at other countries you may be passing through en route, e.g France or Belgium?

I think France is pretty expensive, I didn't go in the local gun shop near my brothers place in France the other week as the last time I looked a few years ago their stock of all things air gun related was dire.

    Gentlemen,
I've got the weekend of the bash fully committed to other activities (wife's birthday and festivals) so won't be able to make this one. However I wish you all the best for a cracking weekend.

Sorry to hear you won't be able to join us, Mark. You will be missed, sir. Do enjoy those other happenings, though, and we look forward to seeing you (for the next one?).

Stop that flood of reviews pouring in, peeps, the quest is no more........

I have two 1377s. One is mini-carbined and very accurate (certainly at garden range) and enjoyable. I pulled the other (standard, later version) out the other week and was struggling to achieve any respectable accuracy. I generally use it on four pumps down the garden. One of the areas where I was struggling was acquiring the foresight properly, especially in less than perfect lighting. Last week I applied a little bit of red paint to the foresight which helped. But still struggling to get tight groups. I had been using the Gecos that Bill gave me when I got the .177 HW45 last year. So I was considering whether it ought to go, rather than putting up with mediocre accuracy for that pumping effort and having another easy-cocking springer pistol. Well, yesterday, after a more "concentrated" session and trying the Geco again, then Hobby (better) and then Superdome, the accuracy I was hoping for but had eluded me was there.

So, I'll stick with it for now, run it on 'Domes (and maybe try some more, too) and see how we go with some more sessions.
