    Ok mate
We have some nice weather coming soon, so you should be able to test it then.
Looks like a few of the Boinger folk are camping this time.

Just looked at the Premier Inn prices for the September bash. The Thursday, Friday & Saturday night £257. The week after £150 for the 3 nights. There prices are all over the place.
LOOKING FOR A BSA ULTRA IN .177 and .25

Are there any decent alternatives to the Premier Inn that are still relatively close by for those staying over but not wanting to / not being able to camp?

I like the Premier Inn, but I ain't paying £257. I will keep my eye on the price, it could come down.

Understood. And a good plan of action, Dave.. I don't tend to often have to look at hotel prices so have no personal experience of those comparison / booking sites, but do any of those often come in useful?

I stayed at the Kings arms in Scalford for Neil’s first bash last year, but it only as two rooms available and they get booked quickly.
It’s about 6+ miles away from the bash location and it’s about £85 per night with breakfast.
That’s why I eventually got myself a decent tent, that I can stand up in .
I do end up taking loads of camping gear (sleeping bag bed cooking stuff chairs etc) good job I have a bigger car.

    Fully understandable, Les.

And it must be so nice to not have far to stagger after a night around the fire with The Boingeristi and to be able to wake up, wander outside and find yourself right in the middle of Boingerland.

    CC35 sleepies to go, peeps.

And the "chill zone" of this forthcoming Bash can't arrive quickly enough......super-stressful and busy at work, lots of sales but accompanied by supply issues and huge waiting list for workshop slots to get them little mo'cycles ready and peeps wanting their bikes yesterday.

Be great to slow that pace right down and chill with you lovely peeps.
