"roomy bolt chamber for split second reloading"... err, this needs like 10 pumps, right ?
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

In the face of Rochesters saying "in the popular .22" caibre" and seeming to make a point of that in their advertising I was surprised to be shown an example in .177!
I wonder if there are any more out there in girly caibre or was this just a one-off prototype to see how it would perform?
Perhaps it decided Rochester to go with the more manly caibre
    Any ideas?

22 was just the standard caliber for American pump air rifles. But Crosman did make some in .177 so I assume Rochester did the same.

Thank you for your reply. When shown the Rochester I examined a .177 of similar vintage with tubular magazine extending towards the muzzle feeding a siding gate to carry the pellet into the breech. Cheers

Nice guns. Like all the different variants and makers of the Lincoln Jeffrey's design I get confused with the Crosman Rochester and Kessler models . They must have been a good rifle to be copied a lot.

It looks like it was a Crosman 104 in .177 that I was shown alongside the .177 singe shot Rochester. Thanks.
