    Single shot pcp

How many of you using a .177 single shot pcp get on with loading the small pellet when shooting at night?

I have an HW100 with a single shot mag and don't have any problems. My custom stock won't take a 14 shot mag.

I had a single shot Titan in .22, day and night was a pain especially if a quick follow up shot was needed.
Had to get a multi-shot instead for hunting.

    I have used a single shot .177.
I can load pellets by feel until my finger tips go numb.
I wear a right hand glove and a fingers less left hand.

This last winter I seemed to use .22.
I have recently bought a magazine fed rifle.
    Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.

Never had any issues with night shooting with single shot rifles.
I'd rather load one and shoot one rather than trying to remember how many shots I've taken.
And reloading mags at night is a proper PITA.

This winter will see my Steyr LG110 fitted with a Yukon for rabbits

Takes a bit of practice but easy enough. Cold numb fingers to be avoided though

Although not a single shot pcp, I have recently been using a single shot adapter in my Wildcat MK3 around a farm. Due to the changing environment/scenario I have switching between H&N Barracuda Lights and Hunter Extremes, plus adjusting the power wheel to suit. No issues so far.

Magazines at night single load during daytime. Mind you changing mags at night can be a pain!

Shooting at night not a problem as I turn the lights on

Seriously though I used to shoot rabbits with a Steyr LG110 with no trouble at Night.

I used to shoot with a single shot .22 FN19 at night. Not a problem at all. It is easier to load than the single shot break barrel guns that I learned on as a teenager.

That being said, I now use a multi-shot Daystate and a multi-shot Air Arms and they are certainly advantageous for getting off a second shot much faster. And for running out of pellets when I mis-count
