    Smk project finished

Guys the smk b2 project got bit of attention today.

Struck with covid and not allowed work so what can you do.

Got this about 12 months or so and have messed with it as and when really but finished now.

Need dig out a scope and it's there.

Loads of videos I think 8 in total but I'll put on first and last for reference.

    Nice one, Desmond.

You've now put the idea in my head that I should revisit my recoilless B2 project.

Good videos mate, I have a Shanghai model 50 (b2 platform) slightly tuned by myself…it’s my back door rat rifle on iron sights.
Good little guns and underrated once sorted (for the money that is).

Great little guns to tinker with. If you mess up nothing lost. Mine in .177 has had a lot of work done for the hell of it. Sleeved transfer port. Rear delrin piston ring, guides and recrowned. Shoots silky smooth at 7.5fpe and spinner bashes all day long at 25yards.

I found that one of the best mods to aid accuracy on a b2 was to drill a hole in the rear of the trigger guard and fit a bolt in it to act as a stop, this cuts out the excess over travel on the trigger.
I set the bolt length so that the trigger blade hits it just after the sear releases the piston rod.

    All the best Mick
