That could be said of the HW100 BPK (which is ultra short and only gives around 50 shots in .177) but the standard length HW100 BP gives you around 110 shots in .177 which is plenty.

    Yes, heavier but better shotcount

Im sure my cricket delivered near 200, my kral is 180 and the Akela is 300 but that’s a .22

My Akela isn’t in its original state now, Ive regulated it and cut barrel back to 14” so silencer ends near flush and its whisper quiet, this Akela is great and its had probably 10k pellets through it with the only issue being an oring on the filler probe flaking off and bits got in the filler valve and stopping it sealing, these are simple to work on and literally 5mins later, valve was cleaned and new orings job done. It easily out shot my wildcat with accuracy and shotcount.

Out the box their ok, but there’s a much better gun hidden inside

I have a HW100BPK. It's superb but it IS very heavy, especially as I have a big scope on it just now.

I swapped the original mod for a Hugget Atom to keep the length down. It's not as quiet but it's OK.

Mine is .177 & I typically get 5-6 magazines (70-84) shots per fill. If I was to use it for hunting I might buy a prismatic scope. I might anyway...

If Weihrauch used a little more light alloy & a little less cast iron this would be an amazing gun!!

In mitigation of the weight, it's very nicely balanced when it's shouldered. The weight kind of disappears...

Stupidly expensive now but a 2nd hand gun is within budget?
