not as good as the cp88, the 88 can be fitted with a comp barrel

I like them. Nice compact accurate little tin can gun.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

    Great pistols

I spent ages debating trim in my rfd

CP99 felt smooth than the 88 in my hands - trigger weight the same. I love
The drop out CO2, and low weaver rail - the only downside is the cocking action is harder for children

I tried the 92FS - so heavy and the trigger felt graunchy

The 1911A1 was my favourite but also £100 more expensive. Just as smooth a trigger but lighter. Really nice

I bought the 99 and really happy - fits my larger paws very well a the 89 was too small and my long fingers poked through the trigger

Mods - just use it and things will loosen up.

Mine was shooting low and left.

Windage was an easy fix, I then added some m3 washers under the rear sight and now shoots bang on!

    CP99 mods

CP99 is a great pistol. I have two. One is unmolested aside from the addition of a the dedicated under barrel laser. The other I added a moderator adapter and a frame for a red dot.

Iv always wanted to try getting the nighthawk version with the screw on suppressor and adding an extended barrel inside this. Sounds like a fun project for a rainy day.

Hiya! You got yourself one then! They are good. Heavy trigger but in fast fire you can’t help but smile!

It was the first replica I had around ten years ago, there has been quite a bit of chatter around these recently which is making me miss it!
I might just have to pick up another one before too long.
Too many guns, or not enough time?
