    Well, almost, Pete.. But more with bike brakes than cars in mind.. Being a Ducati owner and selling them when I got her back in 2002, it was a toss-up between Brembo and Desmo and I guessed that Brembo would be the more reliable option.. She was a super-ace dogdog.

    No worries re the bottles, Chris.

    Re stopping over. Believe me, I really would love to enjoy an evening under the stars sinking a few with the boys and soaking in the full atmosphere. But I know I'd then forget to stick to my pain-in-the-backside medications and eye drops routines. Plus the fact that I'm just under 50 minutes' drive away makes it a more sensible decision to drive over on the two mornings.

    Heads up for the Boinger Bash ‘Camperati’….

    Had a trip to Lidl and Home Bargains today …

    Lidls are selling power inverters… 12v to 240v 300 watt for £28

    Home bargains have excellent stainless steel, varios colours whistling Dixie kettles at 6 quid a pop. They only stock these over the summer months so how’s the time if you need one.
    Also various metal and plastic plates and bowls, clip together cutlery, spare metal pegs, flasks, airbeds etc at very reasonable prices…. Well worth a look if you’re needing some kit. The kettles are top notch btw.😎
