We came up to Newcastle today to flit Monza from one house to her new one around the corner (in Jesmond). Earlier on, I had a bit of time spare. I googled up "Airgun shops in Newcastle" and up came Bagnall and Kirkwood. Result! I've sometimes briefly looked at their website but, not being local to me, never took note of their exact location......Newcastle City centre! Wow! I had a wander down.....just a 15 minutes' walk. And dead easy to find. Very heartening and pleasantly surprised with the central location on a busy shopping street. Had a chat with a very nice chap there. Couldn't leave empty handed so bought a bottle of Abbey Gun Oil and a tin of Hobbies. I'll be sure to visit again.

Had a swift beer on the way back up, too. Lovely. Think the pub was The City Vault, or similar, and it was their own cask ale. Yummy!

Sort of but sort of different and an employer rather than self employed jury is still out .
Probably get to Neil’s late on on Friday and as Pat is supposed to be going even later it’s a bit like Monty moving the 8th army getting Pat loaded as I’m sure Diana Ross takes less stuff on tour
