    To be honest Tone, I got up early to pick up my little bruvver from Bristol Airport. He’s coming over from Ireland for a couple of weeks. I did leave home 10 minutes ago to go get him but his flight is now delayed so I’m back home awaiting an update. Could’ve stayed in bed a bit longer

    I was always happy to do a bit of gun running for you over the years but to be honest this deal had me twitching a bit as I didn’t know how UK Customs would react should we have got questioned, but…. We made it through and I have the goods for onward delivery

    The time has come when I just have to face up to not coming to the September bash. Ages ago we were invited to the diamond wedding party of some very old French friends over the weekend of 17th 18th. I don't know why I kept thinking that there might be some reason why it wouldn't take place, but now I have to accept that we will not be here. I am so sorry I won't be joining you all, there are lots of things I would like to have discussed, they will just have to wait until the next one.
    I would love to be with you, but duty calls.
