News to me, and to the editor

Publishers don't discontinue their flagship magazine, and Airgun World will continue to be published.

They almost certainly sub-contract the subscription's out to a specialist subscription agent, check the postal address , the new publisher probably just uses a different agent.

All the phone staff will know is that the magazine has been removed from their list of titles, so natural for them to assume it's gone.

I had it the other way when Shooting Sports was stopped, I paid to renew my subscription, but a few days later I had an e-mail from the publisher saying they'd stopped the magazine,
I phoned the sub's number to complain & they knew nothing about it.

I've not had any luck getting through to them by phone except in the beginning where they admitted being taken over. Since then no answer from them.
