I have a few but not in the best of condition.

I'm going to give one a full overhaul including a new stock built, re-blacked and full internal setup reworked.

its going to be one of my go to guns.

A few! I can't even seem to get one at the minute, I've only seen a handful for sale and they either go really fast or for silly money

Are you sure? I was told by someone in the trade they were still being imported in small quantities well into the 80's. Demand for the Ace back then was so low that less than 200 were imported in the final year apparently. I believe the founder of Sharp fell of the twig around this time and that led to the company demise.
Sharp Ace stocks were made from a species of mahogany, possibly meranti, and stained.
Sorry- That was a typo, It should have read '1997'!!

Here's my modified ones Ian using a large rat tail file!!

Hi hellsquad, Protek Supplies have an original Ace rear sight for sale.
You can give them a ring.

I bought an innova new and liked it a lot. Then the Ace came out and i bought a new one of those and still have it. I use it regularly and more than any of my other airguns.

This is the only picture I could find on my phone; not very clear, but it gives an idea of the trigger block

My best gun, Ace in .177 (I like my .22 too)

the original trigger is made of monkey metal and they do over time get weakened
if it is billet ally and in raw aluminium then it could be a magic 9 one ,if it is anodised black then it could well be one of mine
