HW80 Open sights not enough adjustment!

Never had this before, the HW80 I currently have will not adjust low enough, shooting about 4" high at 25 yds, everyting is fine, barrel straight ect - the only thing I can think of is the rear sight is the fibre optic and front tunnel sight the older non fibre optic, is the rear fibre optic one possibly a bit taller and needs the fibre optic tunnel one to match?

I've never 'cross paired' old n new, so likely I'd think

unless your barrel has a slight bend, but to be off with opens you'd likely 'see that' I'd think .......

I find the fibre rear and front one of the best advancements for donkeys years (not just HW) I shoot heaps more accurately with fibre optics than 'black irons'

Thanks, I'll put an older rear on for now to eliminate and agreed the truglos are brilliant. There was me being tight thinking I'd get away with fluorescent paint on the front post.

that might actually be why.. with a larger port, there will be less fwd surge, to pull the muzzle down..
