    HFT500 for Diopter Sights?

Does anyone know who makes a dovetail barrel adaptor to fit the HFT500 please?

We would like to fit diopter sights to the HFT500 for some informal target work at 10 metres and need to find a simple slide-on barrel adaptor that has dovetail rails on it to accept a foresight tunnel.

I remember seeing one some time back that was a simple exchange for the standard barrel weight - just loosen the retaining grub screw and slide on the replacement barrel adaptor.

Fitting the diopter sight is no problem and with a suitable barrel adaptor its should be a simple job to swap between a 10 meter target rifle and a scoped FT target rifle making a very useful dual purpose air rifle.

....maybe not a full 12 ft/lbs (you sold it to me so it could be a bit dodgy) !

    Thanks Russ,

Even though it is an ex-IJ air rifle, it (surprisingly) still shoots OK and will be good fun to shoot at 10 meters with a diopter as well as with a scope.

    Stay safe,

    Bob.

I can GUARANTEE it wasn't a 'full 12ft/lbs' as that would have been naughty. Mid 11 ft/lbs is more than enough to kill paper at 10 metres.

The HFT500 is a good accurate air rifle that is lighter to hold than a full match 10metre air rifle, is almost as adjustable, and is much less expensive to buy.

It should make an ideal "dual purpose" air rifle for those than want to try the 10 meter paper-punching sport without getting over-committed initially and it could be a good choice for smaller sized persons or those than prefer a lighter weight air rifle.
