    TopDog

Just heard the very sad news my dear friend David as past away. His knowledge on the science of airguns was second to none and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He would blind me with science on how air rifles worked when ever we had a catch up.My sincere condolences go to his family and friends. RIP My dear friend. Hope God as a longbow cause with you and Steve he'll be in for a treat.

    Deeply saddening news, Paul.

David was such a lovely person who freely passed on his Airgun knowledge to anyone with interest, I wish I could have spent more time in his company.

    Rest in peace, David.

Sad news. I had a few conversations with him about Webley Longbows and their longstroking.
A very knowledgeable and kind chap indeed. Condolences.
Always on the look out for Brum / Venom - Webley Longbow / Tommie rifles and parts.

    David Robson (Top Dog)

Due to a recent post by Mach 1.5, one of David's old friend's, I was alerted to the fact that David had passed away.

For those who knew him, he will be sadly missed.
A proper gentleman and a dedicated airgun enthusiast, with a lifetime of knowledge and a willingness to share with those of like mind.

David contacted me out of the blue, by email, about 18 months ago regarding airgun tuning.
Since then we have communicated almost daily until recently.

I regard the chats we had, as something quite special and will always remember David for the impact he's had on me.

    RIP David

    My condolences
I feared all was not well when I dropped David an email and no reply came. We hadn’t been in touch for a while and this is a reminder to keep up effort with genuine folk and not let those gaps become too long _

    Very sad news.

Not only was David as friendly and helpful as others have testified, but he was also one of the most knowledgeable people on the workings of the spring/piston airgun.

    RIP old friend.
