Minging, like all modern HW stocks. The HW80 looks best with the Mk.I stock.

I bought a HW35E with the older style stock in a hurry when I saw they were "updating"/ruining it.

Weirdly, I don't hate it. But it could have been better. I agree with benchstop's comment about the early 77 stock. Was the Beeman R1 similar? Looks lovely. Elegant. But might some people also want a higher cheekpiece for scope use? Now, for me, a 98-stylee stock on a 80 would be lovely.
