    Hw safety catch sticking

    Hi got my hw77. But trigger safety usually doesn't engage unless I cock it hard. You think a strip down and clean is in order.

    Washing the trigger unit and back block with petrol or any other suitable degreaser and reoiling is a good place to start.

    Cocking hard to cock the trigger can also be caused by other things but cleaning the trigger unit and safety should eliminate them from the equation before looking elsewhere.

    As Mick said.. Give it a good clean, Will be grubbier than a tramps nuts if not done in a long time, Just had the exact same problem with one of my 77s.
    Good soak with petrol and a light oil and now perfect.. Col.
