The Mk5 was a pure Birmingham gun, the Mk6 was a Gamo with a proper BSA barrel.
    Too many airguns!

Thankyou Evert I've got a mk5 and was unsure whether to get a mk 6, even more now.

Yes I really fancied getting one 'till I saw it. The curve along the bottom does all the harm. Worse than modern car styling

    A screw barrel pivot.
    Whatever next
For what it's worth, I quite like gas rams.
Had one in a Lighting Tactical years back and it was sweet to shoot.
    Rust never sleeps !

£400 for a meteor.. and that fugly stock.

Why didn't they just give it a different name; it's really not in the same family / market sector !
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Now £ 400 is worrying, it's got to be much better than a 99 to warrant that ( and any other guns in that price bracket) plus they got to convince us all that the stocks not a visual emetic.

B***cs I've just seen an Evo for less than £200
