Semi - Auto for clays Recommendation's

I am after some advice on what would be a good used buy on a Semi-auto 12G shotgun for clays please, preferably under £750.
    Thanks ....

    Beretta Teknys

You should get a very good condition Beretta Teknys for that money. Based on the AL391 they are very reliable, easy to strip and have the long Optima choke. I’ve had mine since whenever they came out and it’s great on clays. As per most S/A guns these days, originally came with various shims for stock adjustment.

I've got a Remington 1187 Sporting Clays myself, I can't fault it. They are fitted with what Remington calls the target barrel, basically a bigger gas port, so it will cycle 24/28 gr loads reliably. Mine even cycles 21gr loads. Kicks like a .22 rimfire with these
One thing about S/A's for clays is they do soak up the recoil, but the action noise and motion can be disconcerning compared to the dead feel of an O/U.

Nothing like an Auto-5 for that experience
