Lncoln Jefferies whats an H or L
Can anyone please explain why some air rifles made by Lincoln Jefferies are known as 'H' while others are 'L' ? Are there any other nominal letter prefixes for them or is it just these two? Where do they originate from & what are the differences between them so they can be distinguished from one another if for instance they were originally etched on but have now worn or otherwise become indistinct through the ravages of time? Is it as simple as Heavy & Light for what became the BSA Standard & BSA Light?
Thanks
