Valuation for BSA Mercury Challenger please .22 s/n ZD000421

    Evening All,

title of thread says it all.

Its a barn find..a bit scruffy will need a service..has the orginal open sights and a period BSA 4x32 scope.

Hoping it may be a gem .

    Thanks

    Jon

I would think around £175 for a scruffy-ish one to £250 or so for a really good one they're pretty scarce!

Barn find then it could be rough. There are loads of rough rifles out there.
BSA Challenger is a nice if a bit fudgly. Rare but not that rare.

Mint £350. Excellent a tad over £220, decent maybe £200, but rough? £80 if someone wants that kind of project.

I would say between £100 and 150 depending on condition, if it needs a reblue then that's minimum £75 and a service is in the region of £50ish.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in
