I spoke with Richard Mirfin a week or two again the owner of AG Glos and he said he has packed up as an RFD and shop closed all stock will be catalogued and sold at Stroud soon.

Re AG Glos. That's a shame. Had hoped to pay them a visit sometime...but never did. Guess I was part of the problem.
Interested to see how high people will bid. The most recent auctions across the country have shown people bidding above equivalent items on classifieds websites, even before adding the ~30% fees on top.
Even stranger, people buy blind from auctions when at Armsfairs. they can handle and pay less.
I proved this recently.
I offered a BSA underlever at KP for £165, expecting to sell it for £150. After a few tyre kickers, I gave it to an Auctioneer and received £160 2 months later.
Nowt stranger than Collectors
off subject, does anyone know of any auctions nottinghamshire /lincs areas?
Anyone going?
Anyone going to buy and will pick up?
I'm viewing with a mate tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
Hoping to combine with a decent lunch :-)

CR Project hammer price £480.
If anyone wants a near mint one for that kind of money I know of one.
Theoben SLR hammer price £1300. WOW.
One nice Webley Service, the others were very sad.
Thought I would get that MilPat for £500
Well I bid a lot but won little!
It was a very 'international' auction. The auctioneer mentioned bidders from France, USA, Hungary, China (more than once) and maybe others that I can't remember.

There was also an interesting late model Weihrauch HW55CM, with angular target stock that went for £700 plus commission.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
A nickle-plated BSF S54M...Any knowledge of this variation out there?

Nice to see the Beeman Blue Ribbon scope. Thought it would have gone for more. Hard to tell condition wise without seeing it in person though.
The SLR 98, boxed LP53 and HW55t all caught my eye
