    I've bought a fair few items at Stroud, and I was never aware that they delivered; saying that, I usually drive up to collect on the Saturday after the sale, and I'm home again before 10am. I've nevere had any problems with anything I've bought from them, whether it was airguns and shotguns, to lathes and pottery. The hammer prices do seem to be on the high side though.

    Yes Stroud deliver quite effectively. I find that even though the estimates are meant to be a 'honey trap' to make you bid, putting a low bid, if you are interested, at least gets a foot in the door and sometimes, surprisingly, wins!
