This gun threw me, am I correct in thinking this is really a Benjamin EB20? I have a brand new one in the box in 0.20, is there any point in contacting a Crosman service centre in the US like JG airguns? They seem cheap over there.

Yes, its the same pistol - just later production branded as Crosman.

I did check JG - he doesn't have that particular barrel/tube although I did notice he has them new for the H series pumpers.

I have had a dig in the spares dept and found a brand new barrel for a SSP250 Silhouette in .20 if that would help?

too big a diameter so would need turning down between centres which is a waste of a ssp 250 barrel really
best barrel to fit would be a soda straw barrel from a 1077

    Steve,
I think I might have a barrel. We can talk when I see you next.

Load it up with nipped off cotton bud heads and it's a great wasp gun for the summer.. Or silver foil balls turned in a bit of tissue 😎

So what happened to it in the end?

May not be to everyone's taste but this is how it ended up. .22 barrel from an old AGS PCR1 and now shoots nicely about 5.5 ft. lb. I also managed to get a good .20 to replace it in the collection.

    Cracking job there!

I have one that I bought from a mate, I also bought one from the old Airgun forum but traded it against a couple of rifle stocks!

This one is a Crosman badged E9a..
