    Challenger piston won't come out...help?

    Afternoon All,

Bsa challenger, trigger block off easy enough..removed cocking linkage..spring and guide out..now fir the piston...it only moves so far no matter how much wd40 and gentle persuasion I use..it moves fair freely for the first inch or so the nothing.

Does the scope rail need to come off or do I just leave it in a wd40 bath for longer?

    Cheers

    Jon

    Hi,

Yes just use a block of softwood or some form of material that wont mark the ramp, as it's made of alloy, and gently tap backwards.
Its located in a key slot, and the piston has a corresponding grove in it, then it will slide out.
