If JK is charging £250 for a replica Service cocking lever, then £300 wouldn't be unreasonable for an original .22 in good condition, with even more for a .177 and even even more for a .25.

Yes but do replica .22 barrels sell for £250 David? JK can charge what he likes but it's sales that count. I've known .22 barrels go for £150 to £200 in the past.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

I agree John, so have I, but if someone asks for a valuation one has to start somewhere, so one has to go by current not past values.
It doesn't make sense to sell a genuine original in good condition for less than a replica.
Does JK sell many at that price, I haven't a clue, one would have to ask JK.

JK barrels are over priced for what they are. and most times you need to file them down to fit. but he still seems to sell them.

The replacment barrels havent been sold by JK for a while, the cost of them reflects the cost to produce them. To produce them you have to order a minimum and pay in front for them, they may be there for years.
